EXPERTISE
Mr. Hauptman's professional philosophy is to provide real estate services
that build value for both tenants and investors. Specializing in turning
around troubled properties, Mr. Hauptman has a solid history of helping
properties grow in value. His knowledge of retail and office leasing has
consistently led to occupancy rates far in excess of the market average.
CAREER SUMMARY
Mr. Hauptman, a Certified Commercial-Investment Member (CCIM), Licensed
Real Estate Broker and Licensed Builder, joined Swisher Commercial in
1993 as a broker and property manager after working for the Dietz Organization
(now Hendricks & Partners) in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. He became a partner
and board member at Swisher Commercial in 1998. In 2002 he sold his interest
in Swisher to focus on building upon the success of Oxford Company, a
full-service real estate company he built from the ground up.
A life-long Ann Arbor resident, Mr. Hauptman has served as President of
the Oxbridge Neighborhood Association, on the Development Committee of the
Ann Arbor Art Center, and as a Commissioner of the Ann Arbor Building
Authority. He currently holds board positions with the Ann Arbor Art Center
and as Vice-Chairman of the Washtenaw Affordable Housing Coalition, a
low-income housing non-profit.
Mr. Hauptman received his Bachelor of Arts in Urban Development from the University of Michigan.
